Skills, Competitions & Fun

The Jasper Freeride freestyle ski team focuses on developing advanced freestyle skiing skills in young athletes. Training focuses on technical skills related to mogul, aerial, and freeride skiing, as well as building focused, confident athletes.

Most of our young athletes take part with the goal of competition in mogul, big air, and slopestyle events. Some kids prefer to take part purely for individual goal-setting reasons. Whatever their reasons for taking part,  we guarantee our athletes have fun!

Great Reputation Amongst Clubs

Jasper Freeride has grown its reputation as a highly competitive freestyle team at a first-class ski resort, Marmot Basin, since 1996. Well-known amongst ski clubs for our club competitions, our membership is growing and active. Currently, club membership is just over 50 athletes aged 6 to 18 from Jasper, Hinton and Edmonton and area. Every weekend throughout the ski season these kids are on the slopes training, competing and having fun.
