EVENT INFORMATION

REQUIREMENTS

This is NOT

a LEARN to ski or ride Program

  • Age 6-16
  • A Marmot Basin Lift Pass
  • A positive attitude!

 

SKI Participants

      • Ski equipment – helmets mandatory
      • Able to load/Unload Chair lift unassisted
      • Ski Green and some blue runs comfortably and in control

SNOWBOARD Participants 

      • Snowboard equipment – helmets mandatory
      • Able to load/Unload Chair lift unassisted
      • Snowboard Green and some blue runs comfortably and in control
      • Able to link turns

  

Who Is it For:

This Program is for NEW to Freeride Participants who have not participated before in a Freestyle Ski Or Snowboarding Program

Cost:

$25*

*One Day Per Participant

Includes One Day Freestyle Canada, Canada Snowboard participant Insurance.

Schedule:

Please meet us on the Try It day you seleced at the Jasper Freeride Air bag; located between P4 and P3 just off “Home Run” at Marmot basin. 

Our coaches will meet you at 9:15 am. Warm up will start at 9:30
Please bring a lunch.We will take you to store your lunch at Jims Den (basement of the mid mountain chalet) after warm up.
  • Lunch is usually taken for Half an hour. 
We will return you to your parents at the air bag between 3:15 and 3:30pm to chat about your day.
Plan to Ski/Ride all day trying out various aspects of our training.

SKI Registration

Cost: $25 (Includes one time use Limited Membership)

💡 A Limited Membership with Freestyle Alberta is required for insurance coverage. This membership is included in the $25 Cost.

💡Try Freestyle membership, and limited participation membership cannot be used to compete in any sanctioned Freestyle events, training only.

Pleas use the button below to purchase your Limited Participation Alberta Freestyle Membership (for $50 +Processing fees).
It will be valid for 30 days and maxes out at 8 Sessions
**** Fees to the club are additional to this membership. 
You must E-Transfer the club a rate of $50/day to participate once this membership is purchased.
